- the Forest Cottage -

The Forest Cottage - or David’s Cottage as we call it after it’s first owner - is a cute little house placed at the entrance to the forest. It sleeps up to 6 people and has kitchen, toilet and shower.

The cottage can be booked all days, also weekdays, and includes full use of the sauna.

On first floor it has a room with a double bed + a baby crib and a room with 2 single beds (that can be made into 1 double bed on request). Downstairs is a little lounge with a couch/bed that sleeps 2 people, and a cosy fire place. The kitchen has a stove and fridge. The house has a basic bathroom with toilet and shower.

The house is placed a few hundred meters from the lake with the wood fired sauna, that can be fired up by guests anytime. On weekends the sauna will be shared with other guests, while it is private for cottage house users on weekdays.

These are your options

• In the winter months of 2024/2025 you can book the cottage without food and drinks Sunday-Thursday and have the forest and sauna all by yourself

• On Friday-Saturday in the winter months you can book the cottage with all-inclusive

• From April 2025 a stay with us is always all-inclusive

Guide to booking

1. The cottage can be booked by 1-6 people

2. Choose the dates and number of adults, and add a booking (discount) code, if you have one

3. Choose the forest cottage/David’s cottage

4. Scroll to the bottom of the booking page - under ‘extras’ you can add children, extra beds etc.

5. Press ‘next’ and enter your details + pay for your stay (you can cancel or chance your booking according to these rules).
