What is 'the new Stedsans'?

We already started the transition phase into our ‘new’ form, as we are now 4 weeks into our 9th season. We have adjusted the concept to be a little simpler and turned down our prices significantly. It feels like both our new price level and the concept fit the forest really well. The super delicious food and ditto ethics are the same - we’re still here to safe the world by offering a beautiful and very tasty alternative to the headless consumption and exploitation of natural ressources.

With a few but important changes we have put ourselves in a position where we have our hands free to work on other sides of the business - like setting up an impactful retreat schedule, and creating new experiences to make our guests feel even more alive and connected. We want to make all the things we love to fill our own life with available to our guests too.

From May 2025 we will be open 7 days per week and our capacity will be expanded. This way our guests can choose to stay longer to go even deeper in the healing powers of nature, human connection and real food.

There will be more activities for families, and a simpler food concept.

The ‘fine dining’ label we have had since our days in Copenhagen is something we are ready to let go of. It will not change the way we cook, just the way the food is presented. The ingredients will still be exactly the same: Homegrown, foraged and from skilled local farmers and craftsmen/women.

With the new Stedsans we hope and believe we can reach a lot more people, which has always been our mission. We have always first and foremost wanted to inspire to a softer way of walking on planet Earth - by walking first and sharing what we find works for us.

As a recap: Stedsans, our mission and the experience is still the same, but the form is a little different.
